7. V3 ECU Preparation and Installation.
(a) Turn the adjustment screw on the V3 ECU to
the "6" position. (Fig. 7-1)
(b) Insert the ECU mounting bracket into the
indicated bracket slot on the V3 ECU.
(Fig. 7-2)
(1) Insert the mounting bracket into the
correct slot; you have only one chance to
install it properly.
(c) Apply two large foam tapes to the V3 ECU
as shown. (Fig. 7-3)
(d) Locate and remove the bolt securing the air-
conditioner unit in the glove box area.
(Fig. 7-4)
(1) Do not discard the bolt.
(e) Apply the butyl tape to the air-conditioner
unit as shown. (Fig. 7-4)
