INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Connection of the outlet hose to the
drainage
1.
Connect the drain hose to the siphon or hook
it over the edge of a sink (Fig. 1).
Small washbasins are not suitable for this
purpose.
Theedgeofthesinkshouldbenomorethan
1 m (about 3 ft 3inches) from the floor.
2.
Minimum drain height =70 cm or 2ft.
Maximum drain height =100 cm or 3ft.
3.
Ifyouneedtoaddanextension,useaflexible
hoseofthesametypeandsecuretheunion
with screw-on hose clips.
Maximum drain hose length = 2,5m (8 ft).
IMPORTANT
Make sure there are no kinks in the drain hose.
Secure the hose so that it cannot be dislodged
while the appliance is running.
WATER SUPPLY
- Supply: cold water only.
- Tap connection : 3/4”.
- Waterflow pressure: 10-100 N/cm2 (1-10 bar).
For Great Britain only:
Water inlet: hot and cold fill.
The warm water inlet temperature must not
exceed 60
o
C.
WATER INLET CONNECTION
1.
Take the inlet hose out of the drum.
2.
Insert the filter, supplied with the appliance
into the straight end of the inlet hose.
3.
Screwthisstraightendtothetop,preferably
by hand.
4.
Screw the hooked end of the inlet hose to the
appliance.
Make sure that there are no kinks in the hose.
5.
Open the water tap completely and check
water tightness at tap and appliance
connections.
Notes:
x
If the hose is too short, replace it with a
suitable length of pressure resistant hose (min
10 bar -EN 50065 approved).
x
Periodically check the condition of the hose
and replace if necessary.
x
The washing machine can be connected
without an external aqua stop device.
x
Install the appliance in accordance to local
regulations.
