Standards
DMI motors comply with the require-
ments of the international standard
IEC Publ. 60034-1. Further references
to standards can be found in the
respective chapter in this catalogue.
Motors complying with other stand-
ards can be supplied on request.
The DMI motor series is CE-marked
according to EMC Directive 89/336/
EEC and Low Voltage Directive 73/23/
EEC and 93/68/EEC. This series is also
certified to be incorporated into ma-
chinery in accordance with the Ma-
chine Directive 89/392/EEC.
The DMI motor series is approved
according to CSA for voltages up to
750V.
Environment impact
DMI is designed to give low environ-
mental impact throughout its service
life. This includes the manufacturing
process, suppliers, use by customers
and recycling.
Warranty
All products in this catalogue carry
an 24 month warranty after delivery
or a 12 month warranty after start up,
whichever comes first. For longer

La série des moteurs DMI est marquée
CE selon la directive CEM 89/336/CEE
et la directive des basses tensions
73/23/CEE et 93/68/CEE. Cette série
est aussi certifiée pour être incluse
dans une machine selon la directive
des machines 89/392/CEE.
La série de moteurs DMI est approu-
vée selon CSA pour les tensions
jusqu’à 750 V.
Impact sur l’environnement
La série DMI est conçue pour ne
produire qu’un faible impact sur l’en-
vironnement durant sa vie utile. Ceci
inclut le processus de fabrication, les
fournisseurs, l’utilisation par les clients
et le recyclage.
Garantie
Tous les produits de ce catalogue sont
garantis 24 mois à partir de la date de
livraison ou 12 mois après mise en
service. Pour prolonger la durée de

Die DMI-Motoren sind entsprechend

der Niederspannungsrichtlinie 73/23/
EEC und 93/68/EEC CE-gekenn-
zeichnet. Diese Baureihe ist außer-
dem zertifiziert, im Einklang mit der
Maschinenrichtlinie 89/392/EEC. Die
DMI–Motoren sind auch nach CSA für
Spannungen bis 750 V zugelassen.
Umweltbeeinflußung
Die DMI-Reihe wurde so entwickelt,
daß sie während ihrer gesamten Be-
triebszeit die Umwelt nur in geringem
Maß beeinflußt. Dies schließt den
Herstellungsprozeß, die Zukaufsteile,
den Einsatz beim Kunden und das
Recycling mit ein.
Gewährleistung
Auf alle in diesem Katalog beschriebenen
Motoren wird eine Gewährleistung von
12 Monaten nach Inbetriebnahme oder
max. 24 Monaten nach Lieferung ge-
währt. ABB berät Sie gerne im Hinblick
auf eine mögliche Garantieverlängerung.
