WASHING YOUR CAR
If the car is particularlydirty, use a hose to flush grime and grit
from the surface prior to washing. Then wash the carusing a clean,
grit-free sponge and cold or lukewarm water containing a good
quality wash and wax shampoo. Alwaysuse plentyof water to
ensure that grit is flushed from the surface and not ground into the
paintwork. After washing, rinse the car with clean water and dry off
with a chamois leather.
During the winter if salt has been used on the roads, use a hose to
wash the underside, paying particularattention to wheelarches and
panel seams.
