2.1.TheInitialDeveloperGrant.
TheInitialDeveloperherebygrantsYouaworld-wide,royalty-free,non-exclusivelicense,subjecttothirdpartyintellectualproperty
claims:
(a)touse,reproduce,modify,display,perform,sublicenseanddistributetheOriginalCode(orportionsthereof)withorwithoutModi-
cations,oraspartofaLargerWork;and
(b)underpatentsnoworhereafterownedorcontrolledbyInitialDeveloper,tomake,havemade,useandsell(“Utilize”)theOriginal
Code(orportionsthereof),butsolelytotheextentthat
anysuchpatentisreasonablynecessarytoenableYoutoUtilizetheOriginalCode(orportionsthereof)andnottoanygreaterextent
thatmaybenecessarytoUtilizefurtherModicationsor
combinations.
2.2.ContributorGrant.
EachContributorherebygrantsYouaworld-wide,royalty-free,non-exclusivelicense,subjecttothirdparty intellectualproperty
claims:
(a)touse,reproduce,modify,display,perform,sublicenseanddistributetheModicationscreatedbysuchContributor(orportions
thereof)eitheronanunmodiedbasis,withotherModications,asCoveredCodeoraspartofaLargerWork;and
(b)underpatentsnoworhereafterownedorcontrolledbyContributor,toUtilizetheContributorVersion(orportionsthereof),but
solelytotheextentthatanysuchpatentisreasonablynecessarytoenableYoutoUtilizetheContributorVersion(orportionsthereof),
andnottoanygreaterextentthat
maybenecessarytoUtilizefurtherModicationsorcombinations.
3.DistributionObligations.
3.1.ApplicationofLicense.
TheModicationswhichYoucreateortowhichYoucontributearegovernedbythetermsofthisLicense,includingwithoutlimitation
Section2.2.TheSourceCodeversionofCoveredCodemaybedistributedonlyunderthetermsofthisLicenseorafutureversionof
thisLicensereleasedunderSection6.1,andYoumustincludeacopyofthisLicensewitheverycopyoftheSourceCodeYoudistrib-
ute.YoumaynotofferorimposeanytermsonanySourceCodeversionthataltersor restrictstheapplicableversionofthisLicenseor
therecipients’rightshereunder.However,YoumayincludeanadditionaldocumentofferingtheadditionalrightsdescribedinSection
3.5.
3.2.AvailabilityofSourceCode.
AnyModicationwhichYoucreateortowhichYoucontributemustbemadeavailableinSourceCodeformunderthetermsofthis
LicenseeitheronthesamemediaasanExecutableversionorviaanacceptedElectronicDistributionMechanismtoanyonetowhom
youmadeanExecutableversionavailable;andifmadeavailableviaElectronicDistributionMechanism,mustremainavailablefor
atleasttwelve(12)monthsafterthedateitinitiallybecameavailable,oratleastsix(6)monthsafterasubsequentversionofthat
particularModicationhasbeenmadeavailabletosuchrecipients.YouareresponsibleforensuringthattheSourceCodeversionre-
mainsavailableeveniftheElectronicDistributionMechanismismaintainedbyathirdparty.

Codeandthedateofanychange.YoumustincludeaprominentstatementthattheModicationisderived,directlyorindirectly,from
OriginalCodeprovidedbytheInitialDeveloperandincludingthenameoftheInitialDeveloperin(a)theSourceCode,and(b)inany
noticeinanExecutableversionorrelateddocumentationinwhichYoudescribetheoriginorownershipoftheCoveredCode.
3.4.IntellectualPropertyMatters
(a)ThirdPartyClaims.
IfYouhaveknowledgethatapartyclaimsanintellectualpropertyrightinparticularfunctionalityorcode(oritsutilizationunder
thisLicense),youmustincludeatextlewiththesourcecodedistributiontitled“LEGAL”whichdescribestheclaimandtheparty
makingtheclaiminsufcientdetailthatarecipientwillknowwhomtocontact.IfyouobtainsuchknowledgeafterYoumakeYour
ModicationavailableasdescribedinSection3.2,YoushallpromptlymodifytheLEGALleinallcopiesYoumake
availablethereafterandshalltakeothersteps(suchasnotifyingappropriatemailinglistsornewsgroups)reasonablycalculatedto
