32. With a 8mm wrench disconnect the
(-) negative battery cable. Make sure
the cable is far enough away from the
battery that it does not accidentally touch
the battery and make connection during
the installation. (Wrap negative cable
connector with electrical tape.)
33. With a cool engine remove the radiator
cap. (Be careful not to remove the cap if
the engine is still hot.)
34. Open radiator petcock and drain coolant
into a clean drain pan. Save coolant for
reuse later on.
35. Remove the top plastic sight shield bolt
using a 10mm socket wrench. The top
shield and right and left side shields will
not be reused.
