Prepare for the Infusion
IMPORTANT: Infusion pump can be secured on the IV pole by IV clamp (included) as
picture 1 or other accessories.
1) Prepare fluid bag and sterile disposable
infusion device fluid according to
operation procedures, squeeze drip
chamber of IV set to fill up to line.
2) Connect drop sensor (included) to
infusion pump and position it horizontally
on the drip chamber above the fluid line
as in picture 2.
3) Open the door and press ‘Tube Clamp
opener’ to open the “ Down Tube
Clamp.
4) Guide infusion tube through "Air
Detector ", "Up Tube Clamp ", "Down
Tube Clamp " and "Tube Retainer” as in
picture 3. The tube clamp will be
automatically closed while the door is
closed.
