Audio (option)
External CD changer (HU-403, 603, 803) (accessory)
CD changer functions can only be used if the
audio system is connected to Volvo’s CD
changer, which is available as an accessory.
CD changer
Activate the CD changer mode by turning the
SOURCE knob; the CD changer resumes
playing the previous disc and track. If the CD
player cartridge is empty,
"LOAD CARTRIDGE" will be shown in the
display.
Selecting disc number
Turn the 1-20 DISC knob; disc and track
numbers will be shown in the display.
Fast forward/rewind
Press or to seek within a track.
Changing tracks
Press in order to skip ahead to the next track
or to return to the previous track. The disc
and track numbers will be shown in the display.
The arrows in the steering wheel keypad can
also be used if available.
Random
Press RND (HU-603 and 803) to activate the
random function. If you have an HU-403 radio,
press the SOURCE knob. A track selected at
random will be played from a randomly
selected disc. A new disc and track are then
chosen the same way. "RND" is displayed as
long as this function is activated.
