Cassette player (HU-403, 603)
Cassette opening
Slide the cassette into the cassette opening with
the tape to the right. TAPE Side A is shown in
the display. When one side has finished playing,
the system will automatically begin playing the
other side (auto reverse). If a cassette is already
in the cassette player, you can play the cassette
by pressing the SOURCE knob.
Changing tape direction
Press the REV button in order to play the other
side of the cassette; the side being played will
be shown in the display.
Cassette eject
If you press the button, the tape stops and the
cassette is ejected. Turn the SOURCE knob to
select a new programme source. The cassette
can be inserted or ejected even if the system is
switched off.
Dolby B Noise Reduction
This is a preset function which can be switched
off as follows: press and hold the REV button
until the Dolby symbol disappears from the
display. Press the same button again in order to
reactivate the Dolby function.
Fast forward/rewind
Fast forward the cassette with and rewind
with . The display will show "FF" (fast
forward) and "REW" (rewind) when the functions
are in use. Fast forward/rewind functions are
stopped once the button is pressed again.
Next track, Previous track
If you press in the button, the cassette is
automatically wound forward to the next track.
If you press in the button, the cassette is
automatically rewound to the previous track.
There must be a five second break between each
track for this function to work. If you have a
keypad in the steering wheel, you can use the
arrows.
