Dolby Surround Pro Logic
Dolby Surround Pro Logic together with a
centre loudspeaker in the dashboard offers you
a sound experience very close to reality.
The normal left - right stereo channels are
divided to left - centre - right. In addition,
ambient surround sound is produced by the rear
loudspeakers. This ambient surround sound
mirrors the resonance in the recording studio.
Most recordings toady are made so that the
vocalist/soloist is heard from straight ahead
while the orchestra is heard over the entire left-
right panorama and from behind. The result
with Dolby Surround Pro Logic is a sound
experience very close to being there.
Note that the sound experience for rear seat
passengers when using Dolby Surround Pro
Logic is different than that of the driver and
front seat passenger.
Surround Sound Mode*
Select Dolby Surround Pro Logic Mode by
pressing " PL"; "Dolby Pro Logic" will be
shown in the display. Resume 2-channel stereo
function by pressing 2)).
* Dolby Surround Pro Logic Mode is available
for CD, cassette or FM mode only. If you are
listening to a radio transmission, select 3-channel
stereo (3-CH) instead.
3-channel stereo
Select 3-channel stereo by pressing &+;
"3 ch" will be shown in the display. Resume
2-channel stereo function by pressing 2)).
