User Groups
Before you add a new user group or change an existing user group, review the
settings of the current user groups by entering the following command:
> show user groups
Then, to add or change a group, use the following command:
> config user group
NOTE: The maximum number of user groups that you can define for the BSGX4e
unit is 10.
Table 17 describes the parameters for config user group.
Table 17. User Group Configuration Parameters
Parameter Description
[name] Name of the user group to be added or the existing user group
to be changed. This parameter is required.
If an existing user group is specified, only the specified
parameter values are changed; all other existing values for the
group remain unchanged.
access Access methods allowed to user accounts in this group. The
default is none.
NOTE: A user account uses this access value only if its own
access value is none and the access values of any
preceding groups in its group list are also none.
all All access methods allowed.
none No access allowed.
You can specify that two or more of the following methods are
to be connected by using plus (+) symbols.
ssh Secure Shell (SSH) access allowed.
Web Web User Interface (Web UI) access allowed.
cli Command Line Interface (CLI) access allowed.
telnet Remote access through a Telnet session allowed.
ftp File Transfer Protocol (FTP) access allowed.
