For the maximum spin speed allowed by each programme, refer to the chapter Washing
programmes.
Programme option buttons
Depending on the programme, different functions can be combined. These must be selected
after choosing the desired programme and before pressing the button 4 . When these but-
tons are pressed, the corresponding pilot lights come on. When they are pressed again, the
pilot lights go off.
If an incorrect option is selected, the corresponding indicator lamp flashes for about 2 sec-
onds.
For the compatibility among the washing programmes and the options see chapter «Wash-
ing Programmes».
Select the TIME SAVING option (Button 1)
This option allows you to modify the washing time, automatically proposed by the appli-
ance.
By pressing this button you can choose between 2 different options: Quick and Extra Quick.
The relevant lamp comes on.
KURZ/COURT: Quick - Short programme for lightly soiled white-/coloured cotton and syn-
thetic laundry. The washing time will be reduced approx. 10 minutes. Max. recommended
temperature is 60 °C.
EXTRA KURZ/EXTRA COURT: Extra Quick- Very short programme for lightly soiled laundry.
The washing time will be reduced according to the type of fabric (approx. 20 minutes for
cotton and by 20 minutes for synthetic). The machine will perform 1 rinse less.
Select the ECONOMY option (Button 2)
Only for cottons and synthetic items lightly or normally soiled at a temperature of 40 °C or
higher. The washing time will be prolonged and the washing temperature will be reduced.
You can use this option if you want to wash normally soiled laundry and at the same time
save energy.
Select the PREWASH option (Button 3)
Select this option if you wish your laundry to be prewashed at 30°C before the main wash.
The washing time will be prolonged approx. 20 minutes. The Prewash ends with a short spin
in programmes for cotton and synthetic fabrics, whereas in the programmes for delicate
fabrics the water is only drained.
Select the DELAY START (Button 5)
The start of a washing cycle can be delayed by 3 or 6 hours. Before you start the pro-
gramme, if you wish to delay the start, press the button 5 repeatedly, to select the desired
delay. The corresponding pilot light will light up (6 h) or (3 h).
You must select this option after you have set the programme and before you press button
4.
You can cancel or modify the delay time at any moment, before you press button 4.
Cancelling the delayed start after having pressed button 4:
1. Set the washing machine to PAUSE by pressing button 4.
2. Press the button 5 once, the light relevant to the selected delay goes off.
