The door cannot be
opened when the
appliance is switched
on.
The door is locked for safety
reasons. The DOOR (PORTE)
indicator is not illuminated
from behind.
Wait until DOOR (PORTE) is
illuminated in green.
The programme protection
has been set.
Cancel programme protec-
tion (see “Programme Pro-
tection”).
The washing machine is in
standby mode.
Press DOOR (PORTE) button
again.
Detergent deposits are
building up in the
detergent dispenser
drawer.
Water tap is not fully turned
on.
Turn the water tap on fully.
Filter in the screw connec-
tion of the inlet hose at the
water tap or at the appliance
is blocked.
Turn off the water tap.
Unscrew the inlet hose from
the water tap and from the
appliance. Clean the filters.
The rinse water is
cloudy.
The cause is probably a
detergent with a high silicate
content.
No negative impact on the
rinsing results, perhaps use a
liquid detergent.
No illumination when a
programme option
button is pressed.
The selected programme
option cannot be combined
with the set programme.
Make another selection.
Only END (FIN) is illu-
minated on the con-
trol panel.
The washing machine is in
standby mode.
Press any button.
Only WASH TIME
(TEMPS RESTANT) is
illuminated on the
control panel; a
number between 1 and
19 is displayed in the
WASH TIME (TEMPS
RESTANT) display.
The delay timer is running
and the washing machine is
in standby mode.
If you press any button the
standby mode will be can-
celled.
The programme
progress display flashes
constantly.
Programme protection is
switched on; the programme
selector has been moved
during the washing cycle.
Turn programme selector
back to original position (see
“Programme Protection”).
