The program displays the Units/Resources Information window,
containing the question:
Units/Resources Info (U/R):
2. Press the [Resources selection] button to obtain a display of
system resources.
The screen displays information on the already assigned relays,
sensors, DTMFs, and voice channels, located on installed OCD
and MPD cards (STS model only in
unit
e
400 system) in your
unit
e
system.
NOTE
You cannot add any information to the
Resources Information Screen.
Note the numbers of the voice channels that appear opposite the
MIM(s) earlier programmed. This data has been automatically
added by the program as a result of your programming of MIM loca-
tions on the OCD Card Module Definition Screen. You will require
this data for subsequent programming steps.
3. Press the [Units selection] button to obtain a display of system
unit and power information.
NOTE
You cannot add any information to the Units
Information Screen.
From this screen, note the totals on the already assigned or used
ports and highways, and the consequent number still available. Also
note any limitations on station assignments as a result of power lim-
itations. This information may be relevant to
e
maGEN
port assign-
ments, as described in the following section.
19.2.2 IVM/serial Applications Screen
You use this screen to assign serial port usage to the OCD cards
assigned to the
e
maGEN
ports and voice channels.
Step 1
1. From the System Configuration heading, select the IVM/Serial
Applications Screen, Y-I.
Note that the first three use lines have applications automatically
assigned by the system.
2. Move the cursor to the location field of the first available serial
use line.
3. Enter the OCD card cabinet and slot number as assigned in Sec-
tion 19.2.1, above.
