FTP Setting
Specify the settings for FTP client functions and FTP server functions.

Note
The address can be specified as a host name if "DNS Settings" in the Common Setting - TCP/IP page
is set to "ON" and a DNS server is registered.

Reminder
In order to apply changes to the settings for parameters marked with , the machine must be restarted
(turn it off, then on again).
When the machine is turned off, then on again, turn the machine off with the sub power switch before
turning off the main power switch. In addition, wait at least 10 seconds to turn the machine on after
turning it off; otherwise, the machine may not operate correctly.
Item Description
FTP Client Setting Select whether or not to use the machine as an FTP client (Scan to FTP).
FTP Server Setting Select whether or not to use the machine as an FTP server.
FTP Port Number Type in the port number. (Range: 1 to 65535)
Proxy Server Address To use a proxy server, select the method (IP address/host name) for specifying the ad-
dress, and then type in the address of the proxy server.
IP address format: ***.***.***.***; Range for ***: 0 to 255
Proxy Server Port
Number
To use a proxy server, specify the port number for the proxy server. (Range: 1 to 65535)
Connection Timeout Specify the length of time until communication with the FTP server times out.
