SMTP RX Settings
Specify the settings for SMTP reception.

Reminder
In order to apply changes to the settings for parameters marked with , the machine must be restarted
(turn it off, then on again).
When the machine is turned off, then on again, turn the machine off with the sub power switch before
turning off the main power switch. In addition, wait at least 10 seconds to turn the machine on after
turning it off; otherwise, the machine may not operate correctly.
Item Description
Self-Domain Name Type in the domain name for this machine.
Range: Up to 64 characters
Characters that can be entered: Alphanumeric characters and
symbols (- . @)
Port Number Type in the port number for the SMTP server. (Range: 1 to 65535)
SMTP RX Timeout Specify the length of time until communication with the SMTP
server times out.
SMTP Authentication SMTP Authentication
User Name
Type in the SMTP authentication user name used when SMTP au-
thentication is performed.
Range: Up to 64 characters
Characters that can be entered: Alphanumeric characters and
symbols (space ! " # $ % & ' ~ = ¥ | ; : + * ` / ? ^ @ _ - . , ( ) [ ] { } < >)
SMTP Authentication
Password
Type in the SMTP authentication password used when SMTP au-
thentication is performed.
Range: Up to 32 characters
Characters that can be entered: Alphanumeric characters and
symbols (space ! " # $ % & ' ~ = ¥ | ; : + * ` / ? ^ @ _ - . , ( ) [ ] { } < >)
Retype SMTP Authen-
tication Password
For confirmation, type in the password again.
Range: Up to 32 characters
Characters that can be entered: Alphanumeric characters and
symbols (space ! " # $ % & ' ~ = ¥ | ; : + * ` / ? ^ @ _ - . , ( ) [ ] { } < >)
IP Address Exception (Start) 1-3 When specifying a range of IP addresses that cannot be authen-
ticated, type in the starting address. (Format: ***.***.***.***; Range
for ***: 0 to 255)
IP Address Exception (End) 1-3 When specifying a range of IP addresses that cannot be authen-
ticated, type in the ending address. (Format: ***.***.***.***; Range
for ***: 0 to 255)
