Purge Function
WARNING: The IV set must be disconnected from the patient before purging. After
the purging in complete, the user can connect the IV set to the patient again. NEVER
use purge while the IV set is still connected with the patient.
While the pump is stopped, user can purge the IV set by holding to purge
the I.V set. This is for clearing the occlusion or air-in-line conditions.
IMPORTANT: The purge rate is 1200 ml/h. PURGE volume will not be counted into VOL-
UME DELIVERED.
