Michigan The route is along US 131, between mileposts 160 (south end) and 173 (north end),
or between a point 1 ½ miles north of Ashton to the Wexford-Osceola county line. This area is
in the northwest Lower Peninsula, south of Cadillac. The friction meter is located near Lansing,
which is in the south central portion of the Lower Peninsula.
