19.1 GENERAL
This section provides a description of
unit

programming
requirements for

maGEN
, utilizing the
unit

Manager
.
It is assumed that the technician or System Administrator per-
forming the following system configuration procedures is thor-
oughly familiar with the use of the
unit

Manager
.

19.2 SYSTEM CONFIGURATION PROGRAMMING
19.2.1 CARD CONFIGURATION Screen
You use this screen to assign a location for the OCD card(s),
which hold(s) the MIM(s) required for
e
maGEN
operation.
Step 1
1. From the System Configuration heading Y, select the Card
Configuration Screen.
The program displays the Card Configuration Y-S Screen.
2. Select a card position in the system cabinet for each OCD
card used by
e
maGEN
.
Keep in mind these considerations:
• Each OCD card can only hold three MIMs, serving a maxi-
mum of 12
e
maGEN
ports;
• If more than one OCD card is required for a 16 port
unit
e
400 system, or for a 28 port
unit
e
