The whistling noise when spinning which is somewhat
different compared with older washing machines is due
to the modern drive system.
Remedy
In the event of a problem, try to eliminate it with the help of the infor-
mation provided here. If you call out the customer service to eliminate
one of the problems listed here, a charge is levied even during the war-
ranty time.
If in the display the error code (1 or (2 is displayed, you may be able
to solve the problem yourself.
Display (1 as for under "No water flows in".
Display (2 as for "Washing has not been spun well, ..." in the table of
disturbances below.
After eliminating the error, press the X/ (Start/Pause) button. If the
error code is displayed again, please contact your customer service.

Washing machine does
not work.
The mains plug is not con-
nected.
Plug in the mains plug.
The fuse of the household
electrical system is faulty.
Replace the fuse.
The door is not correctly
closed.
Close the door; you must
hear a click as it locks.
X/ (Start/Pause) button
not pressed for long enough.
Press the X/ (Start/Pause)
button until the program
starts.
No water flows in.
Error code (1 appears.
The tap is closed. Open the tap.
The sieve in the clamp of the
inlet hose is locked.
Unscrew the hose from the
tap, remove the sieve and
clean it under flowing water.
