Start the washing program, set the delay timer and final
spin speed
0 Check whether the water tap is opened.
0 Switch on the washing machine: Press the M (On/Off) button.
– The washing program starts automatically after six seconds.
– During these six seconds you can set a time delay to postpone the
start of the program.
– As soon as the door is locked (max. 15 seconds after the start)
the M (On/Off) indicator illuminates.

In the case of the 1 (Stain), 2 (Main Wash) and 3 (Quick Wash) pro-
grams, the program selector moves to a position just after 3 (Quick
Wash) immediately after program start. The program selector then indi-
cates the progress of the program as usual.
0 Set the delay timer if necessary (delays the start of the pro-
gram): press the delay timer button as many times as neces-
sary until the indicator lamp for the desired delay
illuminates.
– The time remaining until start of the program is displayed
(in the following steps: 12, 8, 4, 2 hours).
– During the delay period you can open the door to add
washing.
– To change or cancel the time delay: press the button as many times as
necessary until the indicator lamp for the desired delay time illumi-
nates. If no indicator lamps are left illuminated, the washing program
is started.
0 Reduce the spin speed for the final spin if necessary/o
select (Rinse Hold):
Press the Final Spin Speed/o (Rinse Hold) button as
many times as necessary until the desired final spin speed
(or o/Rinse hold) is displayed.
If o (Rinse Hold) is chosen the washing is left in the last
rinse water, it is not spun.
