2-4-1 System Units and Their Roles
Scan unit
This unit scans the laser beam in the X and Y
directions and detects the light that retums.
Microscope
A BX50 erect image
microscope for fluorescent
observation.

Power controller
A special table-top
controller for power supply
connections other than the
laser and Illumination bulb
power supplies.
Computer
Used for LSD control and
for storing Images as
files.
Computer desk
Laser power supply
The power supply for the
laser oscillator.
Illumination power supply
