You’re granted unlimited in and out privileges in Silverado Extended Cab,
thanks to the fact the large rear doors open a full 170 degrees – and the
bolt-on door hinges not only ensure proper door alignment, but also reduce
the amount of force required to open and close the doors. The low step-in
height makes things that much easier. And it’s not only the Cab that’s
easy to get in and out of. The pickup box helps you manage your cargo
with stake pockets, two-tier loading, cargo bulkheads and four tie-downs.
And there’s more than four feet of space between the wheelwells to
accommodate 4' x 8' sheets of building materials. In Silverado, you and
your cargo can come and go as you please.

The available power sliding window at the rear of the cab
makes it easy to increase airflow. The window slides
from its centre position to the passenger side and is
operated by a switch mounted on the overhead console.
Silverado Extended Cab LT and LTZ models
feature power rear windows that lower all the
way down into the door and offer a 12 percent
larger glass area than the previous Silverado.
