Recommendation: Recommend acceptance of bids as noted on the attached tabulation sheets for
ITV Equipment and Supplies. Section One (1) awards are based on the lowest and best,
responsive, responsible bid per item meeting written specifications. Section Two (2) awards are
based on the highest average discount offered from the manufacturers’ pricers by group. Section
Three (3) awards are based on the lowest and best bid price for quantities (11-50) or average of
multiple line items within the same numbering for quantities (11-50) for responsive, responsible
bidders meeting written specifications. Pricers may be updated one time (no sooner than six
months from date of award) during the contract period. Total savings are estimates only and
include Section One (1), Section Two (2) and Section Three (3) discounts. Items will be
purchased on an as-needed basis.
Term of Contract: This bid is for various ITV Equipment and supplies that may be purchased for
various schools and departments throughout the District on an as-needed basis. The contract
period for Section One (1) and Section Two (2) will begin on January 21, 2009 and continue
through December 18, 2009. To sync up dates with an existing contract, the contract period for
Section Three (3) will begin on January 23, 2009 and continue through December 18, 2009.
Notations and Exceptions: Offers from vendors listed herein are the only offers received timely
as of the above opening date and time. All other offers submitted in response to this solicitation,
if any, are hereby rejected as late.
