Program Mode Entry (Key Station)
Programm ing is performed a t any 24-button Digital Display T elephone.
Programming is always done at this type of station regardless of the class
of service or which station has been assigned the Attendant(s).
To enter the Program Mode:
1. Pres s the ON/OFF button ( optiona l). L ED ligh ts and in tercom dial tone
is heard.
2. On the dial pad, press [

][3][2][2][6] (default password). A
confirmation tone is heard.
3. The ON/OFF bu tton LED is lit. The system is ready to program.
Program Mode Entry (Data Terminal or PC)
A PC terminal connected to the RS-232C port on the optional MISU or
remotely through the optional 9600 baud modem is used for database
programming. When using a data terminal (ASCII or PC capable of
emulating an ASCII terminal) on-s ite or locally, to p rogram the s ystem :
1. Press <Enter> on the terminal.
2. Enter the password [default=3226VOD AVI] , an d pres s <Enter> again.
Proper entry of the password results in the ADM> prompt. Proceed
with programming referring to Figure 1-1: Data Terminal Program

set buttons. By entering [?] from the terminal, a Help screen displays.
When entering the sy stem remotely via a PC, access to the mod em is
accomplished by accessing Port 499 through a direct ringing assignment
or through DISA or by being transferred to Port 499.
