3. Set Parental Controls
Your router provides various options for blocking Internet-based content and communications
services. With parental controls features, your router prevents unwanted content from reaching
your computers. Parental control options include:
• Ke
yword blocking of HTTP traffic.
• Outb
ound service blocking. Limits access from your Local Area Network (LAN) to
Internet locations or services that you specify as off-limits.
• De
nial of service (DoS) protection. Detects and stops DoS attacks.
• Blocking
unwanted traffic from the Internet to your LAN.
Your router lets you restrict access to Internet content based on web addresses and web
address
