Miniature Stereo Mounting Bar
M 100 C
The M 100 C allows you to make stereo record-
ings using the following familiar methods:
ORTF with axially addressed microphones.
The MK 4 microphone capsule with KC
active cable or compact microphones
CCM 4 Lg or CCM 4 Ug
XY as above. Side-addressed microphones can
also be used (microphone capsule MK 4V
or compact microphones CCM 4V U and
CCM 4V L)
You can also apply your own recording methods
with different angles and distances between
microphones.
Using the ST 20-3/8 mounting cylinder
(Fig. 1), you can operate the M 100 C in the
A 20 S elastic suspension (Fig. 2) for critical
applications. Cables are suspended using the
H 20g cable hanger (Fig. 3).
The bar tilts backwards and forwards.

If the microphone clips are in highest position
or at different heights (as in Fig. 4), then move
them both into lowest position (Fig. 5). To do
this, loosen the small knurled screws underneath
the clips by about 3 turns. Then slide the clip
holders down to the bar as far as they will go
and lock them in this position using the little
knurled screw again. Now insert the micro-
phones into the clips.
You can change the position of the clip
holders and their angle to the bar by loosening
the large knurled nuts on the base of each
holder.
You will need to grip the microphone holder
firmly to fully tighten the knurled nuts. The dis-
tance between the microphones (as measured
