Replacing the Speakers
1. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin.
2. Route the speaker cable through the routing guides.
3. Connect the speaker cable to the connector (SPKR1) on the system board. For more information on the location of the speakers connector, see System
Board Components.
4. Replace the four screws (two on each speaker) that secure the speakers to the chassis.
5. Replace the system-board shield (see Replacing the System-Board Shield).
6. Replace the inverter (see Replacing the Inverter).
7. Replace the I/O bracket (see Replacing the I/O Bracket).
8. Replace the back cover (see Replacing the Back Cover).
9. Replace the display bezel (see Replacing the Display Bezel).
10. Replace the speaker cover (see Replacing the Speaker Cover).
11. Replace the decorative cover (see Replacing the Decorative Cover).
12. Replace the optical drive (see Replacing the Optical Drive).
13. Replace the computer stand (see Replacing the Computer Stand).
14. Replace the I/O cover (see Replacing the I/O Cover).
15. Connect your computer and all attached devices to electrical outlets, and turn them on.
