Supported video file formats
The following types of videos can be viewed in Media Center.
File type (format) File name extension
Windows Media file .wm, .asf
Windows Media A/V .wmv
Video file .avi
Movie file .mpeg, .mpg, .mpe, .m1v, .mp2, .mpv2
Additional video file formats might be supported if you install new codecs.
