Wash cycles and temperatures are precisely controlled by new, sophisticated electronics. The perfectly
controlled drum movements make optimal use of the design of the varioSoft drum and its softDesign
paddles. Depending on the wash cycle, your laundry is washed more gently or more vigorously. This
means that your favorite articles of clothing are given the necessary customized treatment, for instance
during the special outdoor, Shirt/Business, or super15 wash cycles.

We developed the varioSoft drum to ensure optimal distribution of your laundry during washing. Its proven
teardrop shape with both curved and flat sides is the perfect complement to the flat and curved sides of
the asymmetric softDesign paddles. The paddles also ensure optimal water flow through and around your
wash. Together, they help with the customized treatment of your laundry for the best wash results and
maximum gentleness.
The world’s first stain removal system.
The right treatment for every stain: grass, tomato sauce, oil – every stain is different.
It’s great that Siemens helps you target and remove 16 of the toughest stains. Thanks to the innovative stain
removal system, each stain gets the specific treatment it needs. The very latest Siemens technology controls
the machine’s intelligent cycles and drum movements for each of the different stain options, so the clothes are
washed gently or more vigorously as needed. And our unique varioSoft drum design supports stain removal
just as actively as our specially shaped asymmetric paddles. Stains come out easily without requiring any
additional stain-removers. The stain removal system is available for use on all wash cycles (except super15 and
wool/hand wash).

Perfect laundry done quickly, or with maximum energy efficiency? With the new varioPerfect technology,
it’s your choice. You can activate either function for any standard or special wash cycle except for
wool/hand wash and super15.

Too busy and no time to do laundry for a while?
Just press the speedPerfect option button
in addition to your selected wash cycle. The
wash time for the standard or special cycle you
selected will be reduced automatically by up to
60 percent – with outstandingly clean results for
loads of up to 5 kg.
For everyone who enjoys saving energy:
ecoPerfect.
If you want to save electricity, activate the
ecoPerfect option along with your normal
wash cycle. Naturally you’ll still get perfectly
clean laundry. When you use the ecoPerfect
option, the machine automatically adjusts
the wash cycle and lowers the water temperature
to wash up to 7 kg of laundry using up to 30 %
less energy.
