The iQdrive is powered by a frictionless permanent magnet, allowing it to remain cool while eliminating
unnecessary loss of energy through frictional heat. At the same time, high-precision electronics control the
overall temperature profile. The result: the i-Dos uses only 0.13 kWh/kg, making it 30 percent more
efficient than the requirement (0.19 kWh/kg) for the highest rating, energy effi ciency class A –even
when the drum contains a full load of up to 8 kg of laundry. *
