
12.10 The lid of the detergent
dispenser does not close
properly
• There is too much detergent in the
dispenser.
• There are deposits of detergent stuck
in the dispenser.
12.11 There are residues of
detergent in the dispenser at
the end of the programme
• The detergent may be too old. Use
fresh detergent.
• The dispenser was damp when it was
filled with detergent causing detergent
to stick.
• The detergent tablet got stuck in the
dispenser and therefore was not
completely washed away by water.
• Water cannot wash away the
detergent from the dispenser. Make
sure that the upper spray arm is not
blocked.
• Make sure that items in the baskets
do not impede the lid of the detergent
dispenser from opening.
12.12 Unusual foam during
washing
• By mistake liquid detergent for hand
dishwashing has been placed in the
rinse aid dispenser.
• Spilled rinse aid can cause foam and
lead to overflowing. Make sure that
you wipe up thoroughly any spills of
rinse aid with a damp cloth.
• There is a leak in the rinse aid
dispenser. Contact an Authorised
Service Centre.
• Tableware has been pre-washed with
detergent for hand dishwashing.
12.13 Items that are dull,
discoloured or with a non
washable patina
• The detergent is not suitable.
• Make sure that only dishwasher-safe
items are washed in the appliance.
