To operate with the buttons on the con-
trol panel you only have to press them
lightly.

To help you to operate with the appli-
ance, messages show in the display and
you can hear the audible signals.
Programme selection button
With this button you can select the washing
programme.
1. Press the programme selection button to
go through the list of available washing
programmes.
2. Press the OK button to confirm and start
the washing programme.
Refer to 'Washing programmes' for more da-
ta about the washing programmes.
OK button
Use this button to:
• confirm or memorise a function or a delay
start,
• start a washing programme.
Delay start button
You can delay the start of the programme
maximum 19 hours.
1. Press the delay start button until the dis-
play shows the number of hours for the
start of the washing programme.
2. Press the OK button to confirm the ad-
justment.
3. Press the programme button or the can-
cel button to go back to the washing pro-
gramme list.
Optional function button
Use this button to select functions. Refer to
'Menu chart' for the list of the available func-
tions.
To set a function:
1. Switch on the appliance.
2. Press the optional function button.
3. The display shows a list of available func-
tions.
4. Press the optional function button to go
through the list and select the necessary
function.
5. Press the OK button to confirm or to go
into the submenu.
6. Press the optional function button to se-
lect the adjustment in the submenu.
7. Press the OK button to confirm.
8. Press the cancel button to exit from the
menu.
Cancel button
Use this button to:
• Cancel a washing programme or a delay
start. Refer to 'Select and start a washing
programme'.
• To exit from the menu.
Switch on for the first time - set the
display language
1. Switch on the appliance.
2. When the display shows LANGUAGE
ENGLISH and the word ENGLISH flash-
es, you can confirm or change the lan-
guage.
– Press the OK button to confirm the lan-
guage.
– Use the optional function button to set
the necessary language and then
press the OK button to confirm.
3. Press the cancel button to exit from the
menu.
