1. Getting Started
The Pacific C-SHS allows conversion of SDI (3G/HD/SD) & CVBS (NTSC/PAL) source signals to HDMI
or DVI with scaling. A compact, stand-alone converter with scaling and cropping, the Pacific C-SHS is
ideal for production, OB vans, post-production, and television broadcasting. It provides automatic video
input format detection, audio monitoring, safe area graticules, while supporting a wide variety of video
resolutions.
This chapter introduces the features and specifications, as well as the external components of the
Avitech Pacific C-SHS.
