· If the ROPS system has been deployed, an authorized Volvo retailer should inspect the system and
make any necessary repairs/adjustments.
· No objects should be placed over the roll bars behind the rear seat head restraints.
· No one should be allowed to sit on the cover over the convertible top storage compartment.

You should never perform any maintenance or in any way attempt to repair/adjust the ROPS system
yourself.

Keeping child seats in place (ALR/ELR*)
To make child seat installation easier, each seat belt (except for the driver's belt) is equipped with a
locking mechanism to help keep the seat belt taut.
When attaching the seat belt to a child seat:
· Attach the seat belt to the child seat according to the child seat manufacturer's instructions.
· Pull the seat belt out as far as possible.
