To test your setup, we’ll use Window’s Sound Recorder.

Entertainment.
3.ClickSoundRecordertolaunchtheapplication.

Speak (or sing) into your microphone.
10.ClicktheBLACK,rectangularbuttontoendrecording.
11.Pressthe
◄◄ button to reset to the beginning of the recording.
12.Pressthe► button to start playback.
If You Don’t Hear Anything…
Ifyoufollowedthedirectionsandhavebeenunabletorecordasound,please
checkWindow’sAudioPropertiesdialogwindow,showninFigure#6,and
ensurethatsoundrecordingissettoAK5371(thisisthenamefortheAcoustica
MVS Microphone in the computer) and sound playback is set for your
computer’ssoundcardorotheroutputdevice.Ifyouareuncertainofthisset-
ting, consult your computer’s owner’s manual.
