2.4L MIVEC ENGINE
Standard on the Lancer SE and GT, the 2.4L MIVEC engine is a 16-valve aluminum-block engine with dual
overhead cams. This “long-stroke” engine produces 168 hp and 167 lb.-ft. of torque. With a balanced torque to
horsepower ratio, the responsive 2.4-liter engine provides quick and confident daily driving power.

seat side, and side-impact curtain airbags. The first compact sedan to offer one, Lancer also features a standard
