Now let's examine similar fault conditions for the woofer. The screen below shows the same 2-way
system as above with the green plot representing the normal system and the orange plot showing the
system in a fault mode with an open circuit woofer. The system is seen to be unloaded (high
impedance) over most of the woofer's frequency range. (not that a dead woofer is very hard to detect!)
