Introducing
the RS 5 Cabriolet
The RS story has unfolded over the last fifteen
years, delivering a series of elegant yet supremely
powerful models – and the RS 5 Cabriolet is no
exception. As a direct descendant of our most exciting
high-performance models, it’s the culmination of
the technical expertise we’ve gained on roads and
racetracks all over the world. Our long history of
motorsport success is evident throughout the
RS 5 Cabriolet. Some of the world’s toughest races
have taught us how to propel our cars ever more
powerfully, responsively and efficiently. The RS 5
Cabriolet’s engine epitomises this knowledge. A close
relative of the V10 in the Audi R8, the 4.2 V8 FSI®
engine develops 450PS and transmits a maximum
of 430 Nm of torque. However, you’ll see as you read
on, there’s much more to the RS 5 Cabriolet than
thrilling power and handling – but we think you’ll agree
that these qualities are an excellent place to start.
