Remove nut -1- and hex bolt, and lift out both links -

Slits in wheel bearing housing may not be widened with
a chisel or similar tool!

Unscrew hex bolt for drive
axle.

Swing out wheel bearing
housing.
-
Take drive axle out of wheel bearing housing and tie
up.
Note:
Place VAG1383/A transmission lifter underneath
(danger of accident if parts fall off when ejecting wheel
hub and wheel bearing).
