Washing Types and Care Symbols
The care symbols help you to choose the right washing program. The
washing should be sorted according to type and care symbol. The tem-
peratures shown in the care symbols are maximum values.
Cottons ç
Textiles made of cotton and linen and which have this care symbol are
insensitive to mechanical stress and high temperatures. The program
t (COTTONS/LINEN) is suitable for this type of washing.

Easy cares êí
Textiles such as treated cotton, cotton mixed fabrics, viscose and syn-
thetics with these are symbols require mechanically more gentle treat-

Delicates ì
Textiles such as layered fibres, micro-fibres, viscose, synthetics and cur-
tains which have this care symbol require particularly gentle treatment.
The program à (DELICATES) is suitable for this type of washing.
Woollens, silk and especially sensitive washing 9ìï
Textiles such as woollens, wool mixtures and silk with this care symbol
are particularly sensitive to mechanical stress. The programs
s (WOOLLENS)/P (HAND WASH) and (SILK) are suitable for tex-
tiles of this type.
