9. Using the SCU with the PS2 / PS3

1. Connect the included power supply to a wall outlet and the

 SCU’sISOpowerconnector.

2. Connect the optical cable (remove protective caps!) to the

optical audio output of your PS2 / PS3 and the SCU’s optical

audio input.

3. Connect the X-Tatic to the SCU by plugging the headset

cable’s 9-pin connector to the SCU’s according 9-pin plug.

4. Connect the USB microphone cable for PS3 to the SCU’s

 USB connector and the respective USB connector of the

game pad.

5. Connect the power supply delivered with the X-Tatic to a wall

 outletandtheheadsetcable’sISOpowerconnector.

6. Switch on the SCU and the game pad.

7. From the game pad’s settings menu (“Settings” > “Sound

 Settings”>“AudioOutputSettings”>“DigitalOut(Optical)”)

select Dolby Digital 5.1 as output format.

8. Under“Settings”>“AudioDeviceSettings”dene“C-Media

 USB Audio Device” as input device and “System Default

Device” as output device.

Note:

From the PS2’s settings menu select Dolby Digital 5.1 as

output format.
