MMC: 737 DECT SYSTEM CODE

DESCRIPTION:

This MMC737 DECT SYSTEM CODE will be used for control the codes of DECT systems which

made by SAMSUNG. This MMC is composed of two fields(SYSTEM ID and AUTH CODE).

SYSTEM ID is composed of 3-hexadecimal digits(range : 011 ~ FFF) to distinguish between

SAMSUNG DCS Key Systems(DECT). This SYSTEM ID code will be provided by SAMSUNG per

DCS key system and the code is unique. The dealer or installer of SAMSUNG DECT system must

program this unique SYSTEM ID value using this MMC when DECT system is installed at the sites.

Whenever DECT system installer wants to register DECT handset, installer must input the

AUTH(Authentication) Code that DECT system has. At this time DCS key system compares that

Authentication Code is same or not. If the system code is same as DECT system has, DECT

system continues the registration procedures. Otherwise DECT system rejects registration

procedure. Authentication Code is organized 4-hexadecimal digits(0000 through 9999; default

value is 1590).

After the registration of DECT handsets is completed using this MMC, the Codes(SYSTEM ID and

AUTH CODE) should not be changed to avoid modification of Data Base for DECT registration

information.

NOTE : The SYSTEM ID value must be greater than 011.( SYSTEM ID range : 011 ~ FFF)

If a system installer wants to register DECT handset, the installer must change the

SYSTEM ID that has range from 011 to FFF.

HOLD Used to clear previous entry

and Enter the AUTHrization CODE via Dial Key pad.
