This section details configuring the Toshiba CIX System with the MIPU/GIPU card to interoperate with American
Broadband Services (ABS) VoIPTrunking Service. The figure below shows an example of an ABS SIP trunking
network configuration.

There are many ways to set up a public IP
address for the MIPU/GIPU. The most com-
mon way is to simply run an ethernet cable
from one of the WAN interfaces on the
router straight to the MIPU/GIPU.
