Install the Backplate
Line up the two backplate slots with the two mounting plate
inner threaded holes.
Secure the backplate to the electrical box with the two long
#8-32 screws provided.
Install the Lamp and Shade
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of a burn or electric
shock during relamping, disconnect the power to
the fixture.
LONG #8-32 SCREW
Remove the thumbscrew from the bracket on the backplate.
Place the shade onto the backplate.
Insert the thumbscrew through the hole in the shade and
screw it into the bracket on the backplate to secure the shade.
Use type T5 High Output linearMAX 24 WATT
fluorescent lamp.
Line up the lamp pins on both sides with the opening on the
sockets.
Insert the pins all the way into the sockets and turn the lamp
to lock it in place.
Connect the Power
Make sure that the mounting plate is grounded in accordance
with local electrical codes.
Connect the black fixture wire to the hot power line wire with
a wire nut.
Connect the white fixture wire to the neutral power line wire
with a wire nut.
Properly place all wires into the electrical box.
