Putting the Windscreen on/ off
When putting the basket onto a micropho-
ne or taking it off, always rotate it as shown
so that it slides easily over the microphone
body. This will help avoid deforming the basket
or breaking it.
Positioning the Capsule
With standard CMC microphones, the bas-
ket should be positioned so that the front
edge of the microphone capsule is close to
the center of the basket (see illustration on
the left).
With MSTC (ORTF) microphones or the STC
accessory, the basket should be pushed up to
the stop:
