Specifying network settings

Using the software switch settings, you can select whether or not SMTP reception is used. For details,
refer to "Specifying settings concerning Assistant tool for C200, SMTP transmission/reception
and POP3 reception (mode 361)" on page 2-11.
In order to specify SMTP authentication settings, the software switch settings must be specified. For
details, refer to "Specifying security settings for e-mail receptions (mode 383)" on page 2-15.
Specifying the settings
1 In the Network Settings screen, touch [SMTP RX Settings].
2 Touch [Self-Domain Name].
3 Type in the domain name of the machine, and then touch [OK].
– To change the port number, touch [Port], and then use the keypad to type in the desired port
number.
4 Touching [OK] displays the following screen. To apply the new settings, turn the machine off, then on
again.

Reminder
When turning the machine off, then on again, wait about 10 seconds to turn the machine on after turning
it off. The machine may not operate correctly if it is turned on immediately after being turned off.
