9 Type in the IP address for DNS server 1, and then touch [OK].
– The IP address cannot be specified to begin with "0.", "127.", or a number greater than "224".
– To enter a number with less than 3 digits, touch [→] to move the cursor to the next number.
10 Touch [OK] in each screen until the initial screen appears.

1 In the Network Settings screen, touch [Machine Name].
2 Type in the name of the machine.
3 Touch [OK] in each screen until the initial screen appears.
Parameter Description
Machine Name Specify the name for the machine.
The machine name is used as a part of the file name with Scan to E-mail transmissions. In
addition, it is used as a part of the subject with Scan to E-mail and Internet fax transmis-
sions.
