RRM: Dynamic Channel Assignment
§ Channel 1 (2.4 GHz) is Access Point default
§ AP reports metrics to controller:
Load: % total time transmitting/receiving 802.11 frames
Noise: AP calculated noise values on each serviced channel
Interference: % taken up by contending 802.11 transmissions
Signal Strength: RSSI values of the AP’s neighbors
§ RRM makes changes to the channel plan, if necessary
§ Logic is applied to minimize changes
§ Running APsreturn to default assignment on reboot
