YOU’RE SURROUNDED IN SAFETY. A host of
innovative driver assist technologies use
strategically located cameras and radar
sensors to warn you of potential risks on the
road — or even in a parking lot. Safety features
are no substitute for the driver’s responsibility
to operate the vehicle in a safe manner. The
driver should remain attentive to traffic,
surroundings and road conditions at all times.
Read the vehicle Owner’s Manual for more
important safety information.
LANE CHANGE ALERT. Working with available
Side Blind Zone Alert, available Lane Change
Alert employs radar sensors in the rear quarter
panels to help detect and warn the driver of
fast-approaching vehicles in the adjacent lane
from up to 230 feet away, not just in the side
mirror blind zones.
FRONT AND CENTER. Tahoe helps protect you
with a class-exclusive seat-mounted Front
Center Air Bag
1
(standard with front bucket
seats). In addition, the 6 standard air bags
provide impressive protection in moderate
to severe frontal, side and rollover crashes.
ADDED SECURITY. Protect your investment
with the class-exclusive, available Theft
Protection Package. It includes glass breakage
sensors, interior motion detectors and a
revolutionary inclination sensor that measures
any tilt of the vehicle.
1 Always use safety belts and the correct restraint for your child’s
age and size. Even in vehicles equipped with the Passenger Sensing
System, children are safer when properly secured in a rear seat in
the appropriate infant, child or booster seat. Never place a rear-
facing infant restraint in the front seat of any vehicle equipped with
a passenger air bag. See the Owner’s Manual and the child safety
seat instructions for more safety information.
WE’VE GOT YOUR BACK.
